Identify safer transfer candidates while protecting shinies, favorites, Shadows, rare species, and useful PvP IVs.
Start with duplicate Pokémon
Compare duplicates by species, CP, appraisal IVs, moves, rarity, and likely battle roles. A lower overall IV percentage can still be valuable if its stat spread is good for Great League or Ultra League.
Protect Pokémon before transferring
Avoid transferring shinies, favorites, Shadow Pokémon, rare species, event-exclusive moves, strong raid attackers, and unusual PvP IV spreads without reviewing them individually. Legendary, mythical, regional, and costume Pokémon may have additional collection value.
Plan candy and evolutions together
A transfer is not always the right first move. Some Pokémon should become your buddy, receive Pinap Berry attention, evolve during an event, or wait until you have enough candy to build the desired battle form. Recommendations are guidance; transferring is irreversible.
