What are Pokémon GO IVs?
Individual values are hidden bonuses for Attack, Defense, and Stamina. Each stat ranges from 0 to 15, so a perfect Pokémon is 15/15/15. The common IV percentage divides the total of all three values by 45; for example, 14/15/15 is about 98%.
Why perfect IVs are not always best for Great League
Because Attack affects CP more heavily than Defense or Stamina, a low-Attack, high-Defense, high-Stamina spread may fit a higher level and more overall bulk below a 1,500 or 2,500 CP cap. The best spread depends on the species, league, and attainable level.
